Créée à Viriat en 1920 par Victor BREVET, le grand-père des dirigeants actuels, l'activité de l'époque répondait aux besoins du marché : charronnage, construction d'engins pour transporter le bétail, cerclage de roues, ...

Dès 1960, sous l'impulsion de Roger BREVET, le fils du fondateur, l'entreprise va s'adapter et diversifier sa production. Elle se lance alors dans la carrosserie poids lourds en réalisant des cabines destinées aux travaux publics et des véhicules spécifiques destinés aux forains et aux primeurs.

C'est en 1980 que l'entreprise se spécialise dans la transformation des cabines de véhicules pour les grandes marques de poids lourds. Elle s'oriente également vers des réalisations spéciales.

Au cours de l'année 1990, face au développement de l'activité, l'entreprise s'installe dans la zone d'activités des Baisses, sur un terrain de 20 000 m2 avec un atelier de 4000 m2. En 1995, les locaux s'agrandissent de 1000 m2 qui seront destinés à l'évolution numérique du parc machine. En 2002, 1000 m2 supplémentaires sont consacrés à de nouvelles installations de peinture.

Actuellement, l'entreprise emploie 90 personnes et réalise un chiffre d'affaires de 7300K€.

Created in Viriat in 1920 by Victor BREVET, the current manager's grandfather, its activity met the requirements of the market at this time : cartwright's work, building machines to transport cattle, tiring wheels.
Since 1960, spurred on by Roger BREVET, the founder's son, the company has adapted and diversified its production. It launched out into coachbuilding for heavy goods vehicles, making cabs for public works and special vehicles for greengrocer stallkeepers.

In 1980 the company specialized in the transformation of cabs for well-known makes of heavy goods vehicles. It has turned towards special realizations as well.

During the year 1990, due to the activity development , the company is setting up in the Baisses activity park, near Bourg en Bresse, over an area of 20 000 m2 with a 4000 m2 workshop.
In 1995, the installations are expending of 1000 m2 for the numerical evolution of the machine park.
In 2002, 1000 m2 wider are dedicated to new paint workshops.
